The Flexchair® 2x3D stands for the dynamic active sit. The movement elements, the two three-dimensional spheres, are situated below the seat and the other at the base of the pole. Here the movements of the back are duplicated and the back is reinforced along its natural path. A large degree of freedom in the movement is possible between the two independent, toppling 3D-system. The movements are done actively and subconsciously, using a minimum amount of effort and gaining maximum results. In this stage, the dynamic active sit is achieved, which is only possible on the 2×3D system:
The FlexChair® 2×3D is dynamically active. This means that the body controls the movements of the FlexChair® once the brain becomes accustomed to its use. The FlexChair® 2×3D stands for moving freely, reinforces the back and coordinates the muscle system. This method is scientifically supported.
The FlexChair® 2×3D is available with three different seating devices; one that emanates a saddle, a round seat and a rectangular seat.

The 1x3D system demands a more straight backed seating position than the passive system, due to its movement possibilities. The pelvic region topples forward when using this device. The body drives the movements that the Flexchair 1x3D makes. This is called the semi-dynamic active sit. In this naturally neutral position, there is a smaller freedom of movement than when using the 2x3D-system.
The 1x3D system also stimulates the body and mind, increases performances in the workplace and in sports, and improves the general well-being. Whilst sitting up straight, all movement are performed subconsciously.
The 1x3D system is especially qualified in professions that require the Flexchair® to roll or toddle. Examples include hairdressers, dentists and pharmacists.
The Flexchair® 1x3D has five different seats available. These include a saddle, a triangular seat, a rectangular seat, a circular seat or a Danish seat. These seats are upholstered manually and can be upholstered according to taste upon request. This should be specified on the ordering/special offer form.
Maximum weight load: 135 kg.

The Flexchair® Care Seat is a basic sample of the Flexchair®. It is called the Care Seat because the triangular seat was adjusted, in careful deliberation with Rianne Huybregts from the Health and Safety Consultancy ‘Zwaartepunt’, to be optimised for employees that work in the care sector. The most important aspect is to relieve the practitioners in their general care.
The working height of the Flexchair® Care Seat is extremely low. Furthermore, the seat is strengthened as the seat is applied with a basic multiplex triangle that is 18mm thick. Please visit: www.zwaartepunt.nl
The most extraordinary part of the Care Seat is the low working height. This can be set to be extremely low, so that the complete bottom part of the lower legs can rest on a bottom part. This aids aspects in Care, such as helping a client put on her stockings. All triangular seats are handmade, extra stable and upholstered with a personal label.
In recent years, different institutions have been able to enjoy the advantages of the Flexchair® Care Seat. Probation trials are not possible. Due to minimum investment, we recommend that you buy two seats with different gas-loaded spring heights (18 and 25 cm) and allow these to circulate around different departments.

FlexChair® Basic
De Flexchair Basic is the active seat without a 3D-system. It is also known as the active seat. In the earlier phase, the statically active saddle was one of the most active forms of sitting. No arm or back rest is present. However, the basic seat is less effective for long-term exercises. Furthermore, there is hardly any training effect compared to the Flexchair® 2x3D. The saddle requires a more straight-backed position because of its shape. The pelvis is automatically toppled forwards.
There are three Basic models available. These include the saddle, the circular seat and the Danish seat. The Danish seat is extremely successful in comfort because it has a kind of back rest. This is not a full back rest, but a functional chrome brace. This brace has a second important function, namely, when the seat is changed or moved, the brace can be used as a handle.
